The Ringing Link

This is a national (and international) call to “round up” handbell ringers of all levels from everywhere!

An opportunity to learn more about handbells, improve your ringing skills, create music, renew old friendships and discover new ones.
Eat. Sleep. Ring. After all, what else is there worth doing in life?

In the heart of Calgary, Alberta, on 16th Avenue NW, at the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT).

Wednesday, July 6 to Saturday, July 9, 2011
(Note: Calgary Stampede is July 8 – 17, 2011)

A massed handbell festival is unlike any other musical experience.  It is a unique opportunity to ring bells together with hundreds of other ringers in a massed setting.  It is a chance for people from all over Canada (and outside Canada) to come together and share in the joy of music and ringing handbells.
This festival is an opportunity to learn by seeing and hearing different performances and participating in workshops, and is an invaluable way to grow as a ringer or director of handbells.
